Japanese Venus

This painting was made in Japan and is strongly influenced by its atmosphere and culture.
I aimed to convey an archetype of female power
—a connection with her own feelings, intuition,
and nature. This power is something you can recognize in people, the universe, and even within yourself.

An interesting fact about this work is that it was inspired by a real person—a beautiful Japanese woman I saw in the mountains. She was quietly praying in a hot spring.

The vision of her white skin, dark hair, quiet confidence, and serene spirit struck me deeply. Thanks to her, this powerful piece was born.
